(TA), a leading provider of consulting, training and technology solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, announced today that its President, Paul Gillard, PhD presented at the 5th Annual Commercial Contracts and Chargeback Management Conference for the Bio/Pharmaceutical Industry hosted by CBI on Wednesday, June 24th. The conference was held on June 23rd and 24th at the Loew’s Hotel in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Gillard, in partnership with Joanne Sadowsky, Director of Contract Management and Compliance at Novo Nordisk, discussed how her contracting team’s productivity and morale were increased through process streamlining and automation. They described the process and technology that increased the transparency of the contracting process and reduced contract set up time by 80%.
"These changes have allowed my team to focus on higher-value activities, and has dramatically increased both accountability and customer satisfaction," said Ms. Sadowsky.
In addition to the presentation with Ms. Sadowsky, Dr. Gillard also moderated a panel discussion to discuss strategies for streamlining and reconciling administration of chargebacks. Industry experts Shannon Olson from Sandoz, Inc., Nancee Erikson from Astellas Pharma, US, Inc., Mary Varney from King Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and Jenny Paz y Mino from Novo Nordisk outlined current issues in the chargeback arena and shared best practices.
